Welcome to ‘Herbcraft’
A concise, twelve-month , fully accredited Home Study Course of Basic, Simple Herbal Medicine, and an honouring of Nature, through the Seasons. Combining techniques and ideas from naturopathy, herbal medicine, and spiritual practice, it will enable you to re-connect with the wisdom that was once handed down through generations of women, from grandmother to mother to daughter, reaching the Wise Woman in all of us (men and women). This is your chance to empower the nurturer and healer within and learn to use the ancient knowledge of the Plant Kingdom to keep you and your family well on all levels in a natural way.
It is important to address all aspects of dis-ease – Mental, Physical and Spiritual, and the Emotions that connect all three, using various methods. To enable you to do this, throughout this Course, you will be introduced to the three ‘Gifts’ of Life:
•The Gifts of the Human Realm – basic anatomy and physiology including common complaints affecting the body.
•The Gifts of the Plant Realm – a Materia Medica of nearly 100 plants from UK and Europe, herbal preparations, how to create a kitchen pharmacy and personal herbal.
•The Gifts of the Spiritual Realm - observation of the seasonal cycles of Nature and discovering different natural healing techniques and therapies along the way to also enhance your journey.
